This Shore Excursion to Achilleion, Mon Repos Palace, and Corfu Old Town is a great opportunity to discover Corfu’s historical landmarks in leisure and relaxation, from the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle.

Your assistant will be waiting for you at the port terminal building. Once the group is ready, the tour will start.
A pleasant panoramic drive will lead you to the first stop. The Achilleion Palace Gardens is a stunning open space from which to admire Corfu Town’s skyview, Mt. Pantokrator, and the Albanian mountain range in the background.
What’s best: dozens of Neoclassical sculptures fill the area, creating an enchanting atmosphere where you can learn about Greek mythology and Sissi’s legend.
All the visitors coming to Corfu have an image in their minds, and this is the view of Vlacherna Monastery and Pontikonissi Island from Kanoni.

Apart from taking the most-wanted photo at the seaview points, you can do more things during the Shore Excursion to Achilleion, Mon Repos Palace, and Corfu Old Town tour:
> Have a coffee or a snack at one of the local panoramic cafeterias. There are three local cafes; two of them are overlooking the bay directly after the bus parking, and the third one is a few meters before the bus stop; you can choose it if you prefer something more ellaborate, or if you want to take the funny photo with your head inside the “CORFU” big letters signal! @skyview.corfu

> Take a short walk and visit Vlacherna Monastery, a tiny building located on a small island close to Pontikonissi. You will find the stairs on the left side of the main cafeteria viewpoint.
> Wait for the aeroplanes to land and say hello to the passengers: the planes are exactly at eye level!

The former British Governor’s residence, a beautiful neoclassical building, has been converted into a lovely small museum, surrounded by lush gardens and featuring interesting archaeological sites: here, you will find several 7th-century BC sites, if you are as crazy as we are about archaeology!
